Apparatus

Engine 801 is a 2003 Pierce Contender on a Kenworth chassis with a 1250 gpm Waterous pump. It is equipped with a TFT Deck Gun, an Akron portable monitor, two 1 3/4" crosslays, and 1500 foot of 3" hose in the bed. It also carries items such as an MSA Thermal Imaging Camera, MSA gas detector, smoke ejector, and numerous saws. This truck is first response on all structure fires and carries our backup set of Lancier rescue tools. She was one of the original trucks in the fleet. 


Brush 802 is a 2003 4 door 4 wheel drive Ford F550 built by Neal Fire Protection Apparatus. 802 is also our first response on rescues so it carries our TNT pump, spreaders, ram, & cutters. 802 is equipped with a Honda generator to power the telescoping scene lighting system and Dewalt electric impact wrench.  It is equipped with a Darley Diesel Pump, foam system, 500 gallons of water, 2 crosslays, and a Warn 9000 lb. winch that can be placed in the front or rear bumper. A Whelen 9000 Strobe lightbar, Sho-me LED's, & a Whelen Siren & Speaker comprise its emergency lighting system. Brush 802 was also 1 of the original trucks in our fleet. 


Brush 803 is a 2004 extended cab 4 wheel drive Ford F550 built by Neal Fire Protection Apparatus. 803's primary responsibility is to fight grass & brush fires. It is equipped with a Darley Diesel Pump, a foam system, 500 gallons of water, 2 crosslays, and a Warn 9000 lb. winch that can be placed in the front or rear bumper. A Whelen 9000 Strobe lightbar, Sho-me LED's, & a Whelen Siren & Speaker comprise its emergency lighting system. Brush 803 was also 1 of the 4 original trucks in our fleet. 


Engine 804 is a 1984 Ford F-750 FMC built Engine that we purchased from Lake Worth Fire Department in 2003. 804 is the second truck to respond on rescue related calls carrying our Res-Q-Jack system and other rescue related tools such as a Stokes basket. It also also our back up Engine and stays ready to fight structure fires. It also carries a Coleman generator and portable lighting to light up scenes.  804 is the last of our 4 original trucks.


Tanker 805 is a 2006 Pierce Tanker/Pumper on a Peterbilt chassis. It's equipped with a Hale 1000 gpm pump, TFT deck gun, two 1 3/4" crosslays, 600 foot of 3" line, a smoke ejector, and much more. It carries 4 MSA airpacks & 5 spare bolltes. This apparatus was acquired on a Assistance to Firefighters grant in 2006. Its 3000 gallon tank and 3000 gallon folding tank have been a lifesaver since it arrived. Thanks FEMA for making this truck a reality. 

 


Brush 806 is a 2006 Chevrolet 8500 built by Neal Fire Protection Apparatus. It is equipped with a Darley Diesel pump, 2 1 3/4" crosslays, and carries 850 gallons of water. It's equipped with 2 MSA airpacks, a chain saw, a Warn 12,000 lb. winch, and many other firefighting supplies. The ability to fight fire from both the catwalk & the front extended bumper make this a very versatile truck with many capabilities. It was acquired on a Texas Forest Service large brush truck grant requiring us to only pay 25% of its cost.
